Session Twenty-Three, Plague of Angels

Mick is down and out saved by a lazarus patch in the nick of time.
Prasab – opens the outer airlock door to the other ship, rolls an 11 on exert and forces it open, kinda breaks it a little.
We disengage from the nebula ship because Peng heard a funny noise in the engines….
Engines and power plant disabled on the Nebula Free Merchant we reboard the ship and explore a little more….
**Crewman on top of Elevator dead. Has a Mag Rifle, no extra mags, Compad(shattered) Mag rifles aren’t common in OA space.
Peng and Prasab go down into Engineering.
2 dead folks in engineering due to explosive decompression. 1 crew, 1 unknown.
The unknown has something grafted onto his skull. Hose or tube/conduit, goes into the base of his skull and is attached to a box/container at his side.
When we open the little box at his belt. There’s a window and something preserved inside it. Kind of brain like. The box and tube to the skull base can be unplugged and swapped out. It looks like a bedelman brain.
**Mag rifle, 2 compads, nebula uniforms.
The guy at the engineering station was trying to overload the powercore to explode the ship… however we blew up the powercore before that happened.
It seems that this guy either cybernetically or psychically used the bedelman brain in some way to manipulate the bedelman workers after killing their religious leader.
Prasab has Fix(0). Powers back up the ship’s
Pharmaceuticals was the tradegoods on the ship.
Amrit Trevity is at the airlock door from the Station. Stationmaster Wood and a security detail is with him.
Boris goes to arrest Amrit points his gun to his head. Amrit says, no, that isn’t going to work.. Boris pulls the trigger and vaporizes his face.
Stationmaster Wood and Boris have a conversation. The situation is defused. An unarmed lady with her is the OA liason, Nika Theodorou. She examines the box and psychic. Says you’d need a psychic with a port to use the box.
Wood unlocks Amrit’s original compad with her station codes. A number of deleted messages however that implicates Amrit in coercion with Nebula. Nika is compromised, blackmailed by Nebula, a relationship with someone on Mnk72 and is sending them information for a while.
Nika Theodoru joins our crew.
Amrit was assigned by Dominion Fuel.
We put the security team in the quarters on the Banshee, with vacuum between the station and the quarters. We take Wood with us to help get the station people safe.
She says she’ll be out of a station manager job after this. Also that she isn’t interested in piracy and doesn’t want to join our crew.
We plan on breaching the station hull near the people at their last known position and extracting them onto the Sword.
We may want to loot the station, at least the juicy bits if we can. Also take bedelman onto our crew.
